Day 3: Guarding Your Heart with Intention

Reading: Philippians 4:6-8

Devotional: Your physical heart is protected by your ribcage—God designed it that way. But your spiritual heart requires intentional protection that only you can provide. In a world saturated with voices, influences, and distractions, guarding your heart is not accidental; it's deliberate. Consider this: the average person spends three to six hours daily on their phone but only minutes in God's Word. We're being shaped more by the world than by the Word. Set boundaries. Filter the voices you allow into your life. Choose carefully what you watch, listen to, and meditate on. A healthy heart requires daily decisions to protect it from toxic influences and to fill it with truth.

Reflection Question: What boundaries do I need to establish to protect my heart from worldly influences?
