Day 5: The Greatest Model of Love

Reading: John 15:12-13; Ephesians 5:25-33

Devotional: Every relationship we have finds its ultimate model in Jesus. He served without demanding recognition. He forgave without condition. He spoke truth without cruelty. He sacrificed without resentment. Paul's vision for marriage in Ephesians is breathtaking precisely because it is not primarily about husband and wife -- it is about showing the world a picture of how Christ loves His church. Your marriage, your friendships, your family relationships are not private matters. They are public testimonies to the character of God. The world is watching how believers love one another. Today, ask God to make your relationships a clear and compelling reflection of the love of Jesus.
