Day 1: Sent in Peace and Wholeness

Reading: John 20:19-23

Devotional: When Jesus appeared to His frightened disciples, His first word was "Shalom"—not just peace, but wholeness. Before He could send them into the world, they needed to experience complete restoration. What are you holding onto that's breaking you? Unforgiveness? Regret? Shame? Jesus offers you the same gift He offered them: peace that comes from being made whole. You cannot fulfill your purpose while clutching the things that fragment your soul. Today, identify one burden you've been carrying and surrender it to Jesus. His peace isn't the absence of trouble; it's the presence of wholeness despite your circumstances. Only when you're whole can you be sent effectively.
