Day 3: Authenticity Over Perfection
Reading: Romans 12:9-10
Devotional: "Don't fake it," Scripture tells us. Your children don't need a perfect father—they need an authentic one who points them to a perfect Savior. Perfection impresses people, but authenticity changes them. When you admit mistakes, pray together through difficulties, and say "I'm still learning too," you model real faith. There's no manual for fatherhood; we're all learning as we go. The most powerful legacy isn't flawlessness but faithfulness. Children remember fathers who loved genuinely, led humbly, and admitted when they needed God's grace. Today, be real with your family. Share a struggle. Pray together. Let them see that following Jesus is a journey, not a destination of perfection.
